Write the Dream

Day 8

Habakkuk 2:2

And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.

As I write this devotional it’s 2023. Beginning in October of 2022 I began to seek God for a word, a thought for the upcoming year. This is something I have done since 2017. By the end of October, God had dropped the quote, ‘the year of words’ into my spirit. Within just a few weeks He began to instruct me with details about this word. I was to share it with our church. Each member got a journal to write in. God told me to tell them to write their vision in these books. They are to write in these journals at least once a week. That as they write their vision, that God would begin to manifest a harvest from their obedience. I know this is different than a reflection about this verse. I felt to share this though with my readers. We are excited about what is already happening. This passage is a powerful revelation of what writing things down can produce. I want to encourage you to do the same, no matter the year or month that you read this devotional. I plan on coming back in a future devotional and share all the testimonies from this word that God gave me. Write the dream and make it plain!
