Do you desire to give more to the Kingdom of God?

Haggai 1:6-7
Ye have sown much, and bring in little; ye eat, but ye have not enough; ye drink, but ye are not filled with drink; ye clothe you, but there is none warm; and he that earneth wages earneth wages to put it into a bag with holes.
. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Consider your ways.
I get it! I want to give more to the work of God than my bank account will let me.
The bible tells us though he will give us the desire of our hearts. If we desire to give and help others we must make room for that to manifest. Wishing and hoping will not make it happen. There are principles in the Bible that gives us ways to open up our giving.
I'm reminded of this verse in Proverbs 11:24
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty.
Consider your ways!( Haggai 1:7) KJV
What do you spend your money on the most? I'm not here to judge you are to make you feel guilty. The time we live in right now is a stressful time on families, especially in the finance department. Look at your money as a seed. No matter how small the amount if you sow it, it will produce an harvest. The soil that you sow in makes a huge difference in how well your seed will preform. I splurge occasionally. I spend money I know will not come back to me. Yet I also know that I must sow into good soil ( church, missionaries, helping those in need, etc.) to see an harvest.
We must sow with purpose. If we don't have a purpose we will just sow and have nothing to show for it like Haggai 1:6 says we will just put our earnings into bags with holes in it.
We all desire to prosper. We all desire to have the finer things in life. There is nothing wrong with that. God desires to bless His people. The problem is the motive. The heart. We must desire to prosper with a purpose. That purpose must be God centered.
I long to send missionaries to other countries. I long to pay for someones college fees. I long to help others with rent, mortages, groceries, etc. Even though I may not do all these right now, I do some of them. I do what I can with what I have. Little is much when God is in it. Lets sow into the Kingdom of God every chance we get. One thing about investing in Gos's kingdom there is a 100% return. Give and it shall be given.
My greatest desire is to Prosper with Purpose.
