Does God speak to you through dreams?

 Genesis 41:32

And for that the dream was doubled unto Pharaoh twice; it is because the thing is established by God, and God will shortly bring it to pass. 

Dreams were patterns that God used over and over. He used a dream to speak to Joseph about Mary. Another time he warned him to take Mary and flee from Bethlehem. Daniel had dreams of prophecy. He also interpreted dreams. Joseph, son of Jacob, had dreams in his younger years that he would rule over his brothers. The lord sent angels many times in the dreams to speak into situations. The Bible speaks of seeing visions and dreaming dreams. They would come as warnings. Sometimes about the future. Sometimes about the present. We can see that God used dreams to speak into people’s lives. In the scripture we used for today shows that Pharaoh had the dream twice because it was established by God and it would come to pass. If you are a dreamer you can relate to these patterns. I have had dreams that I know were from God. We can all ask God to allow us to dream for clarification. Whether you are a dreamer or not, God can use other people’s dreams to give you an answer. 

Prayer

God, I ask You to let me dream for the present and for the future. I need guidance in my life. You spoke to many prophets through dreams. I am not Daniel or Joseph. I may never have a dream that would save a whole nation. Your Word says that I could desire good gifts. I desire today that You use the pattern of dreams to help me on my journey. Lord, You can allow someone else to dream about me. They can release a word for my situation. I’m willing to be used of You in this area. God You're the same yesterday, today, and forever. Your Word is an example for me to live by. You used dreams as an avenue to speak to others. I’m open God for what You have for me. Amen.
