These three stories all have a similar story line. Over each one was a king. Each time the kings was persuaded to pass a decree or a law that could not be altered.
Daniel 6:9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.
Once the decree was signed, Daniel still continued to pray 3 times a day as before. We may not can change the things in our lives that are already against us. Things that our families have entertained and opened doors to the demonic forces. What God will do is give you wisdom to overcome and defeat those things. Daniel still went to the lions den. Because of his history with God he was protected and delivered from the mouth of the Lion.
Esther 3:12-13
Then were the king's scribes called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and there was written according to all that Haman had commanded unto the king's lieutenants, and to the governors that were over every province, and to the rulers of every people of every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language; in the name of king Ahasuerus was it written, and sealed with the king's ring.
13. And the letters were sent by posts into all the king's provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to cause to perish, all Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, even upon the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month Adar, and to take the spoil of them for a prey.
Even though it was not the King that sealed it with the ring, it was as though he did.
Esther couldn't reverse the Kings decree against her people. She choose to intervene. We know through a 3 day fast she was able to approach the King. She could have died. God was with her. He was giving her wisdom to move forward even though she was just a young woman. Ahasuerus the King gave her permission to rally her people together. The Jews could fight and defend themselves against the decree.
It doesn't matter what the enemy has placed in your path. Things that are out of your hand. Past addictions, past hurts, family disfunctions. God will give you wisdom to overcome and defeat every situation.
Those 3 Hebrew boys couldn't change the Kings decree. They could believe in the God they served. They could trust Him. That is exactly what they did. They didn't bow to the idol or give in to the pressure of the moment. They were thrown into the fire. Yet they arose victorious.
We may not get a free pass from the enemy's attacks. Sometimes it will take everything we have to fight through. Thank God we have these examples in the Bible that let us know we can follow God's instructions and still come out a winner.
The lions den. The fiery furnace. The threat of the jews being killed. All 3 was reversed by God's wisdom and knowledge.
Keep fighting. Keep believing. Keep hoping. Keep praying. You will win with God on your side.
