Arise and Flourish!

Day 25

 Isaiah 60:1-3

Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.

 2. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.

 3. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.

People will automatically be drawn to your fruit. When we flourish in the Lord, we don’t have to shout it from the roof top for others to see. It will be evident in our life. We simply need to do just what this passage says. Arise (grow), thy light has come ( bear fruit), and the glory of the Lord will come upon you ( others will see the fruit). The fruit tree doesn’t have to have publicity strategies. It doesn’t have to talk about its upcoming events. The tree bears fruit, the fruit attracts people. It doesn’t have to make marketing signs. I’m not against that by any means. Because I do a little myself. God doesn’t care if we post about  our products. He doesn’t care if we share our journey. His number one desire is that we flourish in Him.

The third verse says they will come to your light. Kings will come to the brightness of our rising. Let’s grow, let’s bear fruit, let’s flourish and those attributes will draw the ones that we are supposed to help.

God, I will grow. I will flourish. I ask you to guide me to the right scriptures in the season I’m in. Teach me how to make the fruit that I bear to flourish. Let Your light shine through me. Let Your love work through me as I navigate through my growing season. Help me to become valuable to your kingdom. When my fellow workers in Christ are in need, let me have what they need. When the sinner or the broken come to my tree don’t let them leave disappointed or confused. You have gave me Your Word as a instruction manual to know how to flourish. I want to bring the best I have when I’m representing You for all to see.
